The National Heritage Council (NHC) invites quotations for the procurement of 3 bulk filers and repairs to an existing one. The closing date for submissions is March 2, 2026. A compulsory site meeting is scheduled for February 25, 2026. The offer must be valid for 30 days from the closing date. Prices quoted must be in South African Rand and inclusive of VAT. The evaluation will be done in two phases: SCM compliance and price/specific goals. The NHC reserves the right to accept or reject any quote and to cancel the process. The supplier must provide a detailed project implementation plan and a warranty of at least 12 months.

Bidders must register on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD). The RFQ will only be awarded to tax-compliant bidders on the CSD at the time of award. Bidders must submit proof of CSD registration, completed and signed SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6, and SBD 7. 2. Bidders must disclose any relationships with persons employed by the procuring institution, any interest in other related enterprises, and any employment by the state. The bidder must declare that the bid was arrived at independently and without consultation with competitors. The bidder must also declare that there have been no consultations, communications, agreements or arrangements with any official of the procuring institution in relation to this procurement process prior to and during the bidding process. The bidder must indicate how they claim points for each preference point system. The maximum points for this tender are allocated as follows: 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals. Failure to submit proof or documentation required to claim points for specific goals will mean that preference points for specific goals are not claimed. The organ of state reserves the right to require a tenderer to substantiate any claim in regard to preferences. The contract will be written in English. All correspondence and other documents pertaining to the contract will also be written in English. The contract shall be interpreted in accordance with South African laws.

A formal quotation form, available on request, must be completed and submitted. Bidders must submit their ICIPC documents, a comprehensive CSD report, complete attached MBD forms, and a municipal account for both the company and directors (not older than 90 days).
