Industrial Mat Tenders

The closing date for submissions is 10 June 2026 at 16:00.

Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system. 80 points will be allocated to price and the remaining 20 points will be allocated for specific goals as per PPPFA 2022.

All suppliers responding to quotations should be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Quotations must be on company letterheads. Quotations received after closing date and time will not be accepted. Quotations without brand names where required will not be accepted. Total quotation value to include all applicable taxes. Submit a copy of a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit. Ensure that all attached MBDs are duly completed and signed. Submit a copy of valid lease agreement or municipal account statement not older than 3 months and not in arrears for more than 90 days. Acceptance of a quotation will be subject to Johannesburg Water’s Supply Chain Policy.

Failure to include all applicable taxes on quotation will lead to disqualification. Quotations received after closing date and time will not be accepted. Quotations without brand names where required will not be accepted.

The deadline for tender submission is 26 June 2026 at 10:00. Late tenders will not be accepted.

For contracts valued below R50,000,000, Eskom pays within 30 days of receipt of undisputed invoices. For contracts above R50,000,000, payment is within 60 days. For contracts valued below R50 000 000 fifty million rand including vat, eskom is committed topaying suppliers within 30 days of receipt of undisputed invoices.

Tenderers will be ranked by applying the preferential point scoring for the 80/20 system, combining scores from pricing and specific goals. Eskom will add the score from pricing and specific goals together and rank the suppliers from the highest to the lowest.

Tenderers must meet eligibility criteria, submit a complete tender with commercial, financial, and technical information, and submit mandatory commercial tender returnables. Tenderers may be disqualified for not meeting eligibility criteria, submitting late tenders, having a conflict of interest, or failing to submit mandatory documents. Eskom will disqualify tenderers that are found not to have met the eligibility criteria.

Eskom will apply a penalty of 2% of the contract value for failure to meet SDLI obligations.
