Commercial Mat Tenders

The closing date for tender submissions is 11 August 2026 at 11:00.

Ehlanzeni TVET College does not bind itself to accept the lowest bid and reserves the right to accept the bid as a whole, in part or not at all.

Late tenders will be disqualified from the bidding process.

A minimum 12-month workmanship warranty is required from the date of practical completion.

The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the highest total number of points under the 80/20 preference points system, unless other objective criteria allow.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with active status, registered with the Construction Industry Board (CIDB) for general building works (GB) or specialist works (SF) for grade 2 or higher, and submit proof of public liability insurance of minimum R2,000,000.

A penalty of R1,**** per calendar day will be deducted for every day the installation exceeds the agreed-upon completion date, up to a maximum of 10% of the total contract value.

The Asezco reserves the right to request any additional information and/or samples of items quoted.

Failure to adhere to mandatory administrative and technical requirements, late or incomplete quotations, or obtaining information that could put the Asezco at risk may lead to disqualification.

The lead time for delivery is 30 days from the closing date of the bid.

Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of the approved invoice according to an agreed payment schedule, against key deliverables provided professional level quality standards have been met.

The evaluation will be based on administrative compliance, mandatory compliance, and preference points, with a focus on price and specific goals.

Bidders must be registered with CIDB as MESystem, grade 1 and above, and provide proof of experience in similar work or mechanical works completion with at least one reference letter.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on 09 July 2026 at 11:00 AM at 67 Korranna Avenue, Doringkloof, Centurion.

Bid documents must not be included in packages containing samples; such bids may be rejected as being invalid.

Failure to provide or comply with particulars such as tax compliance status or CSD number may render the bid invalid. Alterations not initialed may lead to disqualification. Use of correcting fluid is prohibited.

Bids must be delivered by the stipulated time to the correct address. Late bids will not be accepted for consideration. The closing date is 19 June 2026 at 12:00.

Quotations received will be assessed in accordance with the municipal supply chain management regulations, **** read with councils supply chain management policy and 80/20 evaluation criteria. Preference points will be allocated as follows: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals.

Requirements include a valid tax compliance status PIN, a copy of the company registration certificate, certified copies of company owners' ID books, proof of payment of municipal bill/rates accounts or formal lease agreement/letter from traditional authority, and a copy of the CSD detailed report.

The bid of any bidder may be rejected if that bidder, or any of its directors have abused the municipality's supply chain management system, committed any improper conduct, been convicted for fraud or corruption, willfully neglected to comply with a contract, or been listed in the register for tender defaulters.
