Pension Fund Tenders

Proposals must be submitted no later than 12:00 on 11 August 2026.

Payments shall be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice or claim by the supplier.

The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials. This warranty shall remain valid for twelve 12 months after the goods have been delivered and accepted.

Tenders will be evaluated on functionality criteria (previous experience and capacity/expertise) and then the 80/20 preference points system, with 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals.

The occupational health medical testing practitioner must possess MBChB with an additional qualification in occupational health and a valid registration certificate from the Medical Health Professions Council (HPCSA).

Failure to complete required goods and/or services by the due completion date may result in the deduction of a penalty calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services.

Bidders scoring less than 70 points out of 100 for functionality will be disqualified. Late, faxed, or emailed bids will not be considered. Failure to provide required documentation or meet eligibility criteria may also lead to disqualification.

The bankseta will pay the contractor the fee as set out in the final contract. Payment shall be made into the contractors bank account normally 30 days after the receipt of an acceptable and valid invoice.

The contractor warrants that it is able to conclude this agreement to the satisfaction of the bankseta.

Bidders will be appointed on the highest scores. Bids will be evaluated in three phases: 10. 1 compliance/eligibility evaluation bids that do not pass the compliance eligibility evaluation will be disqualified from participating in the next evaluation stage10. 2 technical/functionality evaluation bids that do not meet the minimum threshold indicated in technical/function evaluation, will not participate in the final evaluation stage10. 3 price and bankseta preferential procurement points evaluation bidder will be appointed on the highest scores.

The bidder must hold a valid category i andor category ii financial services provider license, with appropriate subcategories for pension fund benefits and risk cover.

A noncompulsory virtual briefing will be held on wednesday 18 february 2026.
