Generated waste should be removed from the site after completion of the assignment and disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations. The successful service providers will have to provide a guarantee/warranty supported by a confirmatory letter. The ARC reserves the right to make use of another contractor should there be a disagreement on pricing. The ARC may inspect the premises of your company unannounced and premises of your clients, failure to verify these premises may render to disqualification of your bid. Compliance to occupational health and safety act, national building regulations, South African national standard and any other related legislation under South African law is required. The successful service provider will be required to sign a five 5 year performance-based contract with the ARC. The successful service provider will be required to submit a complete safety file (SF) as per the ARC checklist. No work will commence until such time that the requisite documentations have been submitted. Should a service provider intend to subcontract part of the work, the information regarding the percentage of the work needs to be included in the proposal and details of the subcontractor must be emitted in the proposal. Each service provider shall ensure supervision by a competent qualified person during the execution of the work that shall be onsite until completion of the work. The ARC shall not be held liable for injuries to employees or subcontracted employees of the company and or damages to service providers property used in the execution of the work. Only good quality parts and materials that complies with SABS requirements may be used in the execution of the work. The ARC reserves the right to inspect material prior to installation and may refuse usage of the material should it be found not to comply with requirements. Leave workspace clean after completion of work. Service providers shall implement measures for the prevention of damages, losses, etc. to ARC property and employees during the execution of the work. The successful bidder shall be paid upon submission of an invoice for each transaction of satisfactory work detailed in the scope.
