Emergency Equipment Tenders

All applications must be delivered to the Historium Building, 11 Pastorie Avenue, Esterille, Paarl by Friday, 14 August 2026 at 11:00.

Payment will be made based on the actual medical services rendered per event, in accordance with the approved quotation and agreed pricing structure. Invoices submitted by the service provider must be supported by appropriate documentation. Payment will be made within 30 days after receipt of an invoice.

ATM requests a minimum 12 months warranty on services/products delivered or provided. It must be submitted in writing.

Quotations will be evaluated based on price and preference points (BBBEE level). The evaluation criteria are 80/20, with 80 points for price and 20 points for preferential elements.

Minimum requirements include a valid SARS tax clearance certificate, company registration documents, CSD registration, a minimum of 2 years of experience in event medical services with references, and qualified personnel in emergency medical response, first aid, and CPR.

Disqualification may occur for late, incomplete, or non-compliant submissions, failure to return all pages of the quote document, failure to sign/initial applicable pages, unauthorized changes to pricing or specifications, use of correction fluid/tape, failure to complete affidavits/certificates, omission of original tax clearance, or failure to provide proof of authority.

Quotations must be submitted by 20 July 2026 at 16:00.

Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system. 80 points will be allocated to price and the remaining 20 points will be allocated for specific goals as per PPPFA 2022.

All suppliers responding to quotations should be registered on Central Supplier Database (CSD). Quotations must be on company letterheads. Quotations received after closing date and time will not be accepted. Quotations without brand names where required will not be accepted. Total quotation value to include all applicable taxes. Submit a copy of a valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit. Ensure that all attached MBDs are duly completed and signed. Submit a copy of valid lease agreement or municipal account statement not older than 3 months and not in areas for more than 90 days. Acceptance of a quotation will be subject to Johannesburg Water’s Supply Chain Policy.

Failure to include all applicable taxes on quotation will lead to disqualification. Quotations received after closing date and time will not be accepted. Quotations without brand names where required will not be accepted.

The closing date for tenders is 07 August 2026, no later than 12:00.

The contract will be awarded to the highest scoring bidders in terms of price, preference BBEEE status level of contributor, and locality, in accordance with the provisions of the preferential procurement regulations, 2022. Suppliers must complete and sign Form A, and submit a valid ISO **** certificate or equivalent QMS certification. They also need to provide internal and external audit reports, a draft contract quality plan, and documented information for control of externally provided processes, products, and services.

If Eskom or its inspection authority identifies nonconforming products, the supplier will be liable for repair, rework, and replacement costs, as well as potential costs for follow-up inspections. Repeated non-conformities may lead to the rescission or withdrawal of the supplier's qualification status.

The nature, magnitude, and/or frequency of non-conformity and inspection defect/rejection reports raised by Eskom or its appointed inspection authority/agency shall form the basis of any action to rescind/withdraw the supplier's qualification status.
