Recycling Equipment Tenders

Proposals must be uploaded to ***@***. *. * on or before the closing date and time: 24 July 2026, 14:00 pm.

The successful bidder's buyback proposal shall be payable to SA Tourism once the bid evaluation is completed on the basis of the highest bid proposed.

The 80/20 preferential point system will be applied, with 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals. The tender or RFQ must be awarded to the tenderer who scores the highest total number of points.

Bidders must ensure tax compliance and submit their unique personal identification number (PIN) issued by SARS. Proof of national treasury central supplier database (CSD) summary report and CSD overall tax status must be compliant.

Non-compliance on any of the mandatory requirements may result in disqualifications. Failure to complete the register or submitting late bids will invalidate the RFQ.

Tenders must be submitted electronically via the Eskom e-tendering site by 25 June 2026 at 10:00.

Payment will be made on the actual weight at the end of the months collections.

Tenderers will be ranked by applying the preferential point scoring for the 80/20 system. Eskom will add the score from pricing and specific goals together and rank the suppliers from the highest to the lowest.

Tenderers must meet eligibility criteria, including not being under any restriction to do business with Eskom or state-owned companies, and not having a conflict of interest.

A non-compulsory clarification meeting will take place on 19 June 2026 at 10:00 via Microsoft Teams. Tenderers must confirm their intention to attend.

Tenderers may be disqualified for late submissions, failure to meet eligibility criteria, not attending mandatory meetings (if applicable), or not submitting mandatory tender returnables.

Ensure that Eskom has received the complete original tender and one 1 complete hard copy of the original tender at the address and in the tender box or email address specified in the tender data by no later than the closing date and time for tender submission. proof of posting or of courier delivery does not equate to proof of delivery.

Submit a tender only if the tenderer complies with the eligibility criteria stated in the tender data and is not under any restriction to do business with Eskom or state-owned companies. Tenderers are not permitted to subcontract 100% of the scope of work.

Tenderers must attend a site visit and/or clarification meeting that is stipulated as being compulsory in order to familiarise themselves with the proposed work, services, supply, location or similar. failure to attend a clarification meeting or site visit that is identified as compulsory will result in disqualification from participation.

Tenderers may be disqualified if they fail to attend a compulsory clarification meeting or site visit, subcontract 100% of the scope of work, or misrepresent or falsify any information, certificate, affidavit, or document.
