Tenders will be evaluated on a comparative basis using the 80/20 preference points system, with points awarded for price and BBBEE contribution.

If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on 18 August 2026 at 10:00 at the main office in Kathu in the municipal boardroom.

Misrepresentation of address of the business with the aim of earning points may lead to disqualification. Failure to submit documentary proof for certain requirements will be considered as submitting a nonresponsive bid.
