Production Management Tenders

Quotations must be deposited in the tender box at the municipal offices, 13 church street, piketberg before 12: 00 on thursday, 17 september 2026, when quotations will be opened in public.

I undertake to make payment for the goodsworks delivered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, within 30 thirty days after receipt of an invoice accompanied by the delivery note.

The supplier warrants that all goods supplied under this contract must have no defect, arising from design, materials, or workmanship except when the design and/or material is required by the purchasers specifications or from any act or omission of the supplier, that may develop under normal use of the supplied goods in the conditions prevailing in the country of final destination.

The successful provider will be the one scoring the highest points in the event of the lowest bid being higher than R30 ****.

Bidders must demonstrate proven experience in organising and managing major public events and must be registered as a prospective supplier on national treasury's central supplier database csd.

Bids addressed to any municipal official in hisher personal capacity will not be considered and will immediately be disqualified.

The tender closes at 12h00 on friday, 11 september 2026.

Tenders will be evaluated and awarded in terms of the preferential procurement policy, where 80 points will be scored for price and 20 points for BBEE status and specific goals.

Bidders must submit a reference letter for one similar completed project within the last seven years with contactable references.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on monday, 31 august 2026 at 11:30 at the gwaing waste disposal facility of the george municipality.

Nonattendance of the compulsory briefing session will disqualify your tender.

The tender must be awarded to the tenderer who score the highest total number of points in terms of the preference point system price and specific goals.

Bidders must provide a minimum of three contactable client references through written reference letters demonstrating experience in conference, event management or activations services.

Bidders failure to complete the register will invalidate the rfq.

Bids must be submitted by 12h00 on 11 August 2026.

The bids will be evaluated using an 80/20 preferential procurement point system where 80 points are for the price, and 20 are for specific goals.

Only service providers registered with the Central Supplier Database (CSD) will be considered. Mandatory documents include CSD summary report, valid tax clearance or SARS login pin, a certified copy of the most recent municipal account, copies of ID of members, Cipro, and relevant business certificates.

Failure to comply with the conditions will invalidate the offer. Late tenders will not be accepted. Successful bidders providing misleading information will be disqualified.
