PRASA pays for the item within 30 days of receipt of the supplier's correct tax invoice.

The supplier warrants that the items are in accordance with PRASA's requirements, fit for the purpose for which they are intended, and will remain free from defects for a period of one year unless another period is stated in the order from acceptance of the items by PRASA.

PRASA reserves the right to award business to the highest scoring bidders unless objective criteria justify the award to another bidder.

Bidders must submit mandatory returnable documents, including a quotation on company letterhead, RMIMIWA accreditation, and proof of workshop address or lease. Bidders must also be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).

Late deliveries or late completion of the items may be subject to a penalty if this is imposed in the order contract.

Prospective service providers must register on Kouga Municipality’s supplier database. The national treasury central supplier database summary report must be submitted.

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, email or late tenders will not be accepted.

Payments shall be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice or claim by the supplier.

Subject to GCC clause 23, if the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services.

Bidders are advised that KLM may request a free sample of a toilet paper roll and any product in section H. Samples must be clearly marked with the name and details of the bidder and submitted within 4 days after notification.
