Proposals due 26 October 2026 at 11:00 via SCM SupplyFlow portal. Contract duration 12 months. Bid validity 120 days. Evaluation in phases: mandatory criteria, technical functionality (minimum 70), presentation, price and B-BBEE. 80/20 points system. Bidders must be registered on Central Supplier Database. Safety file required. Payment upon substantiated claims.
Proposals must be submitted by 26 October 2026 at 11:00 AM. The contract will be for a period of twelve months (12 months).
SALGA undertakes to pay out within a reasonable time period all valid claims for work done to its satisfaction upon presentation of a substantiated claim. No payment will be made on outstanding information not submitted by the service provider.
The 80/20 points system will be used when evaluating this request for proposal. Price is weighted at 80 points, B-BBEE status level at 10 points, and specific goals at 10 points.
Bidders must have at least 10 years experience in structuring engineering scope and project management in the built environment, with a minimum of three letters of project concluded in the last five years.
SALGA reserves the right to terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice if the winning bidder fails to perform in accordance with the specified service requirements or fails to provide project deliverables.
Compulsory site visit: 12 October 2026 @11:00 AM at No. 56 William Street, Wilkoppies, Klerksdorp, North West Province.
Questions will only be taken up to 4 days before the closing of the bid. Last day for questions is 19 October 2026 at 16:30.
Failure to comply with any condition of this request for a proposal will invalidate respective tender proposal. Bidders must be registered on Central Supplier Database (CSD) before submitting bids.
