Blasting Services Tenders

Eskom commits to paying suppliers within 30 days for contracts below R50 million and within 60 days for contracts above R50 million, as stated: eskom is committed to paying suppliers within 30 days of receipt of undisputed invoices and within 60 days of receipt of undisputed invoices.

The tender will be evaluated using the preferential procurement point system: **** system will apply to tenders with an estimated rand value equal to or below r50 million excluding vat or **** system will apply to tenders with an estimated rand value above r50 million excluding vat.

Tenderers must meet eligibility criteria including not being under restriction to do business with Eskom, not having sanctioned nationality, and not having conflicts of interest. tenderers are ineligible to submit a tender if: 1. sanctioned nationality and all tenderers found to have a conflict of interest shall be disqualified.

There is a non-compulsory clarification meeting: noncompulsory clarification meeting date: 03 november 2026 time: 10: 00 microsoft teams meeting.

Clarification queries must be submitted before 10 ten working days before the deadline for tender submission.

Tenderers can be disqualified for not meeting eligibility criteria, submitting late tenders, or not meeting the functionality threshold: tenderers who do not meet the threshold for functionality scoring will be disqualified and late tenders will not be accepted.

Services must be rendered within 24 hours after being requested. the successful bidder must render his/her services within 24 hours after being requested by the authorised official of the department

Payments made promptly, no later than 30 days after invoice submission. payments shall be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty (30) days after submission of an invoice or claim by the supplier.

Bidders must register on Central Supplier Database and provide reference numbers. bidders must ensure that they register with the national treasury central supplier database csd and attachprovide the reference numbers on the sbd 1 form

Penalty calculated using current prime interest rate per day of delay. deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay

Bids received after closing time will not be accepted. Bids received after the closing time and date as a rule will not be accepted for consideration

Penalties may be imposed for non-compliance with health and safety specification. Fines range from R50 to R10,000 or site closure, deducted from payment certificate. penalties may be imposed on contractors who do not comply with this health and safety specification
