Evaluation uses the 80/20 point system: a maximum of 80 points will be awarded for price and 20 points will be allocated based on the specific goals bbbe status level.

Required documentation includes tax clearance certificate tax pin issued by sars declaration of interest sbd 4 bee certificate applicable affidavit if classified as eme letter of good standing coid only if applicable.

No site briefing is scheduled: compulsory site briefing na site briefing venue na.

Incomplete quotes may be disqualified: quotation must be completed in full, incomplete quote could result in a quote being disqualified.

Delivery must be within 4 weeks. A letter on company letterhead signed by a duly authorized official committing to deliver within 4 weeks is required. letter provided with a delivery period 4 weeks

Payment is made within 30 days of receipt of the supplier's correct tax invoice. prasa pays for the item within 30 days of receipt of the suppliers correct tax invoice.

The supplier warrants items are free from defects for one year from acceptance. will remain free from defects for a period of one year unless another period is stated in the order from acceptance of the items by prasa.

Bidders must complete mandatory returnable forms and provide a delivery commitment letter. failure to completed and provide these mandatory returnable forms at the closing date and time of this rfq will result in a bidder s disqualification

Late deliveries may be subject to a penalty if imposed in the order contract. Late deliveries or late completion of the items may be subject to a penalty if this is imposed in the ordercontract.

Bidders listed in the register for tender defaulters or restricted suppliers will be automatically disqualified. where a persons are listed in the register for tender defaulters and or the list of restricted suppliers, that person will automatically be disqualified from the bid process.

The evaluation criteria include relevant specifications and technical proposals, value for money, capability to execute the contract and specific goals allocation.

Tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 3ep or higher and must have read and signed the provisions of the rules and specifications.

A compulsory clarification meeting will take place at Vaal Marina Fire Station on 14 October 2026 at 10h00.

Late tenders will not be accepted and bids must be sealed in an envelope marked with the relevant bid number and description.

Bids must be delivered by the stipulated time to the correct address. Late bids will not be accepted for consideration. Closing date: 09 October 2026, 12h00.

PRASA pays for the item within 30 days of receipt of the suppliers correct tax invoice.

The supplier warrants that the items are in accordance with PRASA's requirements, and fit for the purpose for which they are intended, and will remain free from defects for a period of one year unless another period is stated in the order from acceptance of the items by PRASA.
