Telecommunications Hardware Tenders

The Umzimvubu Local Municipality is seeking to appoint a reputable service provider to supply laptops, laptop chains, internet 3Gs, and printers for schools. Mandatory documents must be submitted to avoid disqualification. The Umzimvubu Local Municipality Supply Chain Management Policy will apply. Required documents include a SARS confirmation with a verification pin, company registration documents with ownership details, ID copies of managing directors/owners, and properly filled MBD forms 4, 6. 1, 8, and 9. Bidders must also provide a billing clearance certificate or statement of municipal accounts, or an affidavit/lease agreement/confirmation letter declaring no municipal service debt exceeding 30 days. Bid documents are available for free on the eTender portal or for a fee of R451 for hard copies. Cash or bank-guaranteed cheques made payable to Umzimvubu Local Municipality will be accepted. No couriered, faxed, emailed, or late tenders will be accepted. Document certification must be within 90 days. Bidders must be registered on CSD and provide confirmation. There will be no compulsory briefing session. The municipality reserves the right not to appoint, with value for money being the key determinant. All tenders must be deposited in the tender box at the new Umzimvubu Local Municipality offices by 12:00 noon on 16th February 2023. Tenders must be clearly marked with the project name. The municipality will not award to persons working for the state. All bids will be subjected to prequalification, requiring a minimum of 70 points for functionality. This is a public tender for the supply and delivery of various ICT hardware for a period of three years on an as-and-when-required basis. A compulsory online briefing session will be held via Microsoft Teams on April 8th, 2026, at 10:30. Attendance is mandatory for qualification. Bid documents will be available for download from the ERWAT website or as hard copies upon request. A non-refundable document fee of **** applies for hard copies. Bids must be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to the bid box at ERWAT Head Office by the closing date and time of April 23rd, 2026, at 12:00. Electronic and faxed bids are not acceptable.
