The bid notice states delivery must take place within 7 working days of placing an official order, unless if agreed with management.

The bid will be evaluated using the 80/20 point system.

The bid evaluation process for this rfq will be conducted in three 3 distinct stages as follows: stage 1: administrative requirements stage 2: mandatory requirements stage 3: price and specific goals

The closing date for submissions is September 19, 2025, at 12h00.

Tenders above R299,**** will be evaluated on the basis of price and specific goals, 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals, as stipulated in the preferential procurement policy framework of Richtersveld municipality.

Bidders must provide a copy of company registration documents, 2 ID copies of all shareholders/owners/partners/manager of bidding companies, rates/taxes invoice or signed lease agreement, valid tax pin, declaration on state of municipal account, certificate of independent bid determination, preference points claim form, declaration of tenderer's past supply chain management practices, registration report on central supplier database or supplied CSD supplier number. Bidders may not be in arrears for more than three months with municipal rates and service charges.

Late and incomplete submissions will invalidate the quotation submitted.

Prospective bidders must submit proof that the materials provided are SABS approved. Bidders must provide a sample of overall jacket, pants and boots with tender document.

The tender is for goods and services from R 299 **** to R 700 **** including VAT.

Bids must be delivered by 12h00 on September 9, 2025, to the correct address.

Suitably qualified and experienced service providers are invited to tender.

The warranty shall remain valid for twelve (12) months after the goods have been delivered and accepted at the final destination, or for eighteen (18) months after the date of shipment, whichever period concludes earlier.

The tender will be evaluated based on relevant specifications, value for money, capability to execute the contract, and adherence to the PPPFA associated regulations.

Tenderers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and have a compliant tax status.

If the supplier fails to deliver within the specified periods, the purchaser may deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay.

A compulsory clarification meeting will be held on August 8, 2025, at 10h00.
