This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the provision of security services for the monitoring and maintenance of a CCTV security system and armed response services for the Vaal network ambient air quality stations. The contract duration is 12 months. Bidders are required to submit their RFQ responses electronically by 24 April 2026 at 11:00 am to ***@***. *. * compulsory briefing session will be held on 22 April 2026 at 10:00 am at Kliprivier Station. Bidders must be registered on the CSD, have a valid PSIRA registration certificate, and be able to provide quarterly maintenance for the CCTV system. They must also provide real-time access to the CCTV feed. The evaluation will be in four phases: SCM administrative requirements, mandatory requirements, functional evaluation, and price and specific goals. The bid will be awarded based on the highest points scored, considering price and specific goals (BBBEE status). Payments will be settled within 30 days of invoice receipt. Bidders must ensure tax compliance and declare any conflict of interest.
The bid documents must be submitted electronically by the closing date and time indicated on the cover page of the RFQ, which is 24 April 2026 at 11:00 am.
Unless stated otherwise in this RFQ or as mutually agreed upon by both parties prior to award of the RFQ, all payments due to creditors for goods delivered or services rendered will be settled within thirty (30) days from receipt of an invoice.
The RFQ will be awarded to the bidder scoring the highest points, subject to section 21F of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, **** (Act No 5 of ****), considering price and specific goals.
Bidders must be registered on the CSD, provide a copy of a valid PSIRA registration certificate, be able to provide quarterly system maintenance on the CCTV cameras system, and provide a detailed technical proposal outlining how SAWS will be granted real-time and on-demand access to the CCTV camera feed.
A compulsory site visit is required on 22 April 2026 at 10:00 am at Kliprivier Station. Bidders are required to attend the mandatory briefing onsite briefing session at Kliprivier station and must complete and sign the official attendance register during the session.
The RFQ is for requirements up to R500 000.
