Quotations are requested for the disposal of hazardous material fluorescent tubes. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system. All required documents must be submitted with the RFQ response. A copy of a valid lease agreement or municipal account not older than 3 months should be submitted with a quote. MBD forms attached should be completed and submitted with the quote. All quotes should be on PDF, MS Word, or MS Excel; pictures are not allowed. A copy of a valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit must be submitted with the quote. Submissions must be made on the eTender portal. Quotations received after the closing date will not be accepted. Prices quoted must be as per the unit indicated and be excluded of VAT.

Prospective service providers must note that the fluorescent tubes are unpackaged, possibly broken and not counted. Service providers are invited for site visit to see the volume and estimate the weight and quote accordingly. A recycling certificate indicating waste type, volume and recycling site must be issued to the sentech soc limited before payment can be made to the service provider. Mandatory requirements include a letter of good standing, a valid hazardous waste permit, and at least 3 reference letters from previous clients.

Bid for the removal and safe disposal of **** fluorescent bulbs from the KZN Department of Transport head office. Bids must be submitted on the official forms provided, not retyped, and must comply with preferential procurement policy framework act, **** and the preferential procurement regulations, 2022. A valid waste management license from the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment is required. The successful bidder will be required to fill in and sign a written contract form SBD7. The closing date is 07/08/2025 at 11h00. A disposal certificate of compliance must be produced upon completion of disposal. The bidder must indicate their enterprise status and submit a tax compliance status (TCS) PIN or Central Supplier Database (CSD) number. The offer must be valid for 120 days from the closing date. All delivery costs must be included in the bid price.

A declaration certificate for local content and a preference points claim form must be submitted. The bidder must complete a declaration of bidders past supply chain management practices. A certificate of independent bid determination must be completed and submitted. The successful bidder must complete a contract form.
