Climbing Equipment Tenders

The bid is for goods and services, with a total amount below R300,**** terms are 30 days after delivery. Bidders must submit a tax clearance certificate and declare any conflicts of interest. The 80/20 preference points system will be used. The municipality reserves the right to reject any bids. Suppliers must register on the municipality's accredited supplier database and the CSD. The bid is subject to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act **** and the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.

Closing date for quotations is 11 April 2025 at 16:00:00 PM. Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system. 80 points are allocated to price and 20 points to specific goals as per PPPFA 2022. Suppliers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). A copy of a valid lease agreement or municipal account (not older than 3 months), completed MBD forms, a copy of a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and the quotation itself (in PDF or MS Word/Excel format) must be submitted. No pictures are allowed. Quotations received after the closing date will not be accepted. Prices quoted must be exclusive of VAT. Acceptance of a quotation is subject to Johannesburg Water's supply chain policy. Additional documents required include: original valid tax clearance certificate, valid SARS PIN, certified original valid B-BBEE certificate/sworn affidavit (compliant with B-BBEE practice guide 01 of 2018), municipal rates and taxes (not older than 90 days in arrears), signed declaration of interest form MBD 4, declaration of bidders past supply chain management practices form MBD 8, certificate of independent proposal determination form MBD 9, proof of CSD registration, and preference points claim form in terms of the preferential procurement regulations 2022 (form MBD 6. 1). Bidders must complete a declaration of interest form (form MBD 4) and a declaration of bidders past supply chain management practices form (form MBD 8). A certificate of independent bid determination form (form MBD 9) must also be submitted. The tender is subject to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The maximum points for this tender are allocated as follows: 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals.
