Successful bidders must ensure compliance with section 204 of the Value Added Tax (VAT) Act, 89 of **** invoices must bear specific information. Failure to comply with abovementioned will result in payments not been made timeously.
Quotations will be evaluated in terms of preferential procurement regulations, 2022, preferential procurement policy of council. The 80/20 preference point system is applicable, with points awarded for price (80 points), BBEEE status level of contribution (10 points), and locality (10 points).

Law enforcement will conduct regular inspections and noncompliant contractors will be fined. If specific goals have been claimed or obtained on a fraudulent basis, or if conditions of contract are not fulfilled, the organ of state may disqualify the person, recover costs, cancel the contract, restrict the tenderer from obtaining business, or forward the matter for criminal prosecution.
Failure to comply with conditions will invalidate your quote. Abuse of the supply chain management system, conviction for fraud or corruption, willful neglect of contracts, or being listed in the register for tender defaulters may lead to bid rejection or contract cancellation.
