Bids must be deposited in the bid box situated in the reception area at SANSA Office, Building 10, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research CSIR Campus, Meiring Naudé Road, Brummeria, Pretoria, South Africa, **** during working hours 08h00-16h30. Bids must be delivered timeously to the correct address. If the bid is late, it will not be accepted for consideration. The closing date is 03 July 2026 at 11h00.

Sansa shall be obliged to settle the amount due by direct deposit into the tenderer's bank account within 30 thirty days of receipt of the invoice.

The tenderer warrants that it has obtained all necessary licenses, permits or other authorizations required from the relevant responsible authority for the purposes of it executing its obligations in terms of this tender.

Qualifying bids are evaluated in terms of the 80/20 preference points systems, where the 80 points will be used for price only and the 20 points will be awarded to a bidder for attaining the specific goals.

Bidders must provide a fully completed and signed bid document and a Central Supplier Database (CSD) summary report. Bidders must ensure that they have successfully registered on the CSD at the time of submitting their bid with a compliant tax status.

Failure to provide or comply with any of the particulars may result in your bid being disqualified. Bids that are suspicious will be reported to the competition commission for investigation and possible imposition of administrative penalties.

The value of this bid is estimated to not exceed R50 000 **** all applicable taxes included.

The project timeline culminates in a live production cutover to H3C CAS on 05 October 2026, with a minimum 4-week warranty period following golive.

Payment will be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice or claim by the supplier.

The warranty period is twelve 12 months after the goods have been delivered and accepted, or eighteen 18 months after the date of shipment, whichever concludes earlier.

Responsive bids will be adjudicated on the 80/20 preference point system, with 80 points for price and 20 points for preference.

Bidders must meet prequalification criteria, including submitting required documents, and achieve a minimum of 64 points in the technical evaluation (Phase 1) and 20 points in the live demonstration (Phase 2).

If the supplier fails to deliver or perform services within specified periods, penalties may be deducted from the contract price.

The HSRC reserves the right to carry out site inspections, product evaluations or explanatory meetings in order to verify the nature and quality of the services offered by the bidders.

Misrepresentations in a tender may give rise to service termination and a claim by the HSRC against the bidder. Bidders may also be disqualified for collusive tendering, corruption, or fraud.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11:00 AM on 26 June 2026.

The employer shall pay the contractor within thirty 30 calendar days.

The defects liability period for the works is replaced with a period of three hundred and sixtyfive 365 calendar days in respect of the listed applicable elements.

This bid will be evaluated in two phases: Phase one: Compliance, responsiveness to the bid rules and conditions. Phase two: Preferential procurement policy framework act (PPPFA), and preferential procurement regulations 2022. Points will be awarded as follows: maximum points on price 80 points, maximum points for specific goals 20 points, total 100 points.

Contractors who have a contractor grading designation equal to or higher than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered, or a value determined in accordance with regulation 25 1b of 257a of the construction industry development regulations, for a CIDB grade 4GB or higher class of construction work.

The duration of the contract shall be within twentyfour months from the commencement date and the detail for calculation of penalties will be specified on the contract document i. e. JBCC Principal Works Agreement: Edition 6. 2 May 2018.

There will be no briefing meeting.

The employer will respond to requests for clarification received up to seven 7 working days before the tender closing time.

Tenderers may be placed under restriction from tendering with the state if they have withdrawn tenders after the closing date, failed to commence contracts, had contracts terminated for reasons within their control, offered bribes, acted fraudulently, collusively or improperly, or made incorrect statements in affidavits.
