Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system. All suppliers responding to quotations should be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Shortlisted suppliers will be required to submit samples, failure of which will lead to disqualification. A copy of a valid lease agreement and municipal account not older than 3 months should be submitted with the quote. All quotes should be on PDF. Quotations received after the closing date will not be accepted. Quotations without brand names where required will not be accepted. Quotations without the suppliers authorised signature will not be accepted.

Quotations must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Prices quoted must be valid for at least thirty 30 days. The quotation will be evaluated in terms of the 80/20 preference point system. Suppliers must be registered with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD). Supporting documents as stipulated in the municipal specific goals MBD 6. 1 must be submitted. No quotations will be considered from persons in the service of the state.

Quotation for plumbing materials, valid for 90 days. Municipal bidding documents must be completed and authorized by designated individuals (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6. 1, MBD8, MBD9). The total quotation amount is below R30,**** one service provider will be appointed. Companies without letterheads must use a company stamp. Payment terms are 30 days. Supplier's municipal account status must be submitted. Prices must be itemized. Quotation will be evaluated according to the 80/20 preference points system. The RFQs are subject to the preferential procurement policy framework act **** and the preferential procurement regulations 2022. The municipality reserves the right to withdraw, readvertise, reject, or accept any quotation. The municipality reserves the right not to accept the lowest quotation or award to the highest scoring supplier. Bidders in the service of the state are ineligible. The municipality reserves the right to extend the validity period. Tax clearance certificate requirements from SARS (www. ***. *. *) are mandatory for all bidders. The original certificate must be submitted with the bid. Consortia, joint ventures, and subcontractors must submit separate certificates. A declaration of interest form (MBD4) must be completed and submitted. A preference points claim form (MBD 6. 1) must be completed. A declaration of bidders past supply chain management practices (MBD 8) must be completed. A certificate of independent bid determination (MBD 9) must be completed. The municipality may reject a tender if municipal rates and taxes or municipal service charges are in arrears for more than 3 months (MBD 15). General conditions of contract (MBD 16) are also applicable.
