The Agricultural Research Council (ARC) is requesting tenders for the appointment of a panel of service providers to perform building and structural repairs and maintenance at various cluster sites across South Africa for a period of 5 years. The closing date for tender submissions is 29 September 2025 at 11h00. Tenderers must submit two sealed envelopes: one for the proposal and one for the financial proposal. Compulsory requirements include CIDB registration, a letter of good standing from the Department of Labour, a valid tax pin number, a CSD report (not older than three months), completed standard bidding documents, and certified copies of company registration documents. Each service provider shall ensure supervision by a competent qualified person during the execution of the work that shall be onsite until completion of the work. The ARC shall not be held liable for injuries to employees or subcontracted employees of the company and or damages to service providers property used in the execution of the work. Only good quality parts and materials that complies with SABS requirements may be used in the execution of the work. The ARC reserves the right to inspect material prior to installation and may refuse usage of the material should it be found not to comply with requirements. Where a bidder lacks in-house expertise and may have to outsource certain services, the detail and basis of charges of any such service that may be required must be outlined.
