Bidders must clearly state any deviations from special conditions and provide reasons, with paragraph references in a supporting appendix. Foodbev SETA is not liable for bidder expenses. The procurement process may be postponed or cancelled at any stage before contract signing. Bid submission conditions, instructions, and evaluation criteria must be followed; non-compliance results in rejection. Foodbev SETA has the right to negotiate with bidders. A contract is only finalized in writing. Bidders will be informed of their bid status after completion. Information requests are handled according to policy and legislation. Proposals from bidders with proven corrupt or fraudulent acts will be rejected. Bidders, or their directors, who have abused the SETA system, committed fraud, or failed to perform on previous contracts may have their bids disregarded. General conditions of contract must be accepted. Additional information may be requested during evaluation, with a 2-day response deadline. Bid and related information must be kept confidential. Copyright of all documentation belongs to the client. Immediate written notice must be given if delivery cannot be met. Bidder warrants agreement conclusion. Waiver of breach does not prejudice remedies for continuing breaches. No amendment or variation of contract is valid unless in writing and signed by both parties. All suppliers must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD). Proof of registration or application must be submitted with the bid. No contract will be awarded to unregistered bidders. Bid documents must be completed, concise, and simply presented. Tax obligations must be met; SARS tax clearance certificates (TCS) or Central Supplier Database (CSD) numbers are required. A declaration of interest must be completed and returned. Preference points claim forms must be completed and submitted with supporting documents. Invitation to bid documents must be completed and returned. Pricing schedules must include all costs. Registration with professional bodies is required. Failure to provide required information may render the bid invalid. Proof of authority must be submitted. On termination, all project documentation must be handed over. Bidders must indicate a ceiling price based on the total estimated time for completion of all phases, including all expenses and applicable taxes. Persons involved in the project must be listed with hourly and daily rates, certified invoices, and travel and other expenses. The period required for commencement and estimated man-days for completion must be specified. Rates quoted must be firm or details of adjustments must be provided. Persons in the service of the state, companies with directors in the service of the state, or close corporations with members in the service of the state are not eligible to bid.

The Foodbev SETA is seeking quotations for pest control services for 24 months. The closing date for submission is July 2, 2025 at 16:30 Telkom time. Quotes must be emailed to ***@***. *. * must meet minimum requirements (compliance evaluation) and achieve a minimum score of **** points on functionality evaluations. An 80/20 preferential procurement principle applies for bids above R30,000 and up to R50 million. The successful service provider will be required to provide comprehensive pest control services and materials for the Foodbev SETA offices. The bidder must be registered on the National Treasury CSD central supplier database, submit completed and signed SBD forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6. 1), and provide a tax clearance certificate and PIN. Reference letters, company profile, and project plan are required for the functionality evaluation. The bidder must provide a firm total cost for providing comprehensive pest control services and materials, including a monthly fee and the total cost for 24 months. All relevant data and information provided by the Foodbev SETA and its employees must be treated as strictly confidential. The service provider must enter into a service level agreement (SLA) with the Foodbev SETA before commencement of work. The proposal must be valid for 90 days from the date of submission. No service should be provided before an official purchase order is issued. Invoices are payable 30 days after receipt.

The Foodbev SETA is seeking quotations for fumigation, deep cleaning, and window cleaning services for 24 months. Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury CSD, submit completed SBD forms (1, 4, 6. 1), a tax clearance certificate and PIN. Functionality evaluation criteria include professional body membership, bidder experience (with reference letters), and a company profile demonstrating 5+ years of relevant experience. A minimum functionality score of 70 is required. The evaluation will use an 80/20 preferential procurement principle for bids above R2,000 and below R50 million.
