The bid notice states delivery will be affected within . working days from date of order.

PRASA pays for the item within 30 days of receipt of the suppliers correct tax invoice.

The supplier warrants that the items are in accordance with PRASA's requirements and fit for the purpose for which they are intended and will remain free from defects for a period of one year unless another period is stated in the order from acceptance of the items by PRASA.

PRASA reserves the right to award businesses to the highest scoring bidders unless objective criteria justify the award to another bidder.

Bidders must ensure compliance with their tax obligations.

Late deliveries or late completion of the items may be subject to a penalty if this is imposed in the ordercontract.

Eskom is committed to paying suppliers within 30 days of receipt of undisputed invoices for contracts valued below R50 000 000 including VAT, and within 60 days for contracts valued above R50 000 000 including VAT.

Prices will be scored out of 80 or 90 points. Specific goals will be scored out of 20 or 10 points in accordance with the PPPFA. Tenderers will be ranked by applying the preferential point scoring for the **** or **** system. Eskom will add the score from pricing and specific goals together and rank the suppliers from the highest to the lowest.

Tenderers must meet the eligibility criteria stated in the tender data. The tenderer, or any of its principals, must not be under any restriction to do business with Eskom or state-owned companies. Eskom will disqualify tenderers that are found not to have met the eligibility criteria.

Failure to meet stipulated contractual requirements by the stipulated deadlines may result in the tenderer being regarded as nonresponsive and ineligible for contract award.
