Lead Management Tenders

Mandatory technical evaluation includes CVs, proof of qualifications, certifications, Master Installation Electrician (MIE), and applicable plant authorisations. Qualitative evaluation considers resource plans, previous assignments, and lead times. CVs, proof of qualifications, certifications refer to technical tender returnable and employers to ensure the proposal meets the service must be provided for all service resources service requirements.

A o assessment against a mandatory criterion will technically disqualify the tenderer. The minimum weighted final score threshold required for a tenderer to be considered from a technical perspective is 75, as the requirements are not seen as complicated and must be met or it will lead to increased risk.

Bids must be deposited in the official tender box no later than 12:00 noon on 31 July 2026.

Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice accompanied by the delivery note.

The provider warrants that all goods supplied are brand new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials. This warranty shall remain valid for twelve 12 months after delivery and acceptance at the final destination, or eighteen 18 months after the date of shipment from the port of loading, whichever period concludes earlier.

Evaluation and award shall be conducted in accordance with the preferential procurement regulations of 2022, the general conditions of contract GCC, and any applicable special conditions of contract. Bids will be evaluated on a 80/20 preferential point system where 80 points are allocated for price and 20 points for specific goals.

Bidders must comply with all administrative compliance requirements and achieve a minimum functionality threshold of seventy 70 points. Proof of registration and accreditation by the relevant SETA is required.

Failure to deliver within the specified period shall render the provider liable to penalties calculated on the prime interest rate per day of delay, without prejudice to the purchasers other remedies.

Bids may be rejected if they fail to comply with critical compliance requirements, if false declarations are made, or if bidders have abused the supply chain management system, been convicted of fraud or corruption, or failed to comply with government contracts.
