Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system. All suppliers responding to quotations should be registered on central supplier database csd. A copy of valid lease agreement or municipal account not older than 3 months should be submitted with a quote. MBD forms attached should be completed and submitted with the quote. All quotes should be on pdf ms word, ms excel, pictures are not allowed. Copy of valid bbbee certifcate or sworn affidavit to be submitted with the quote. Quotations received after close of business on the closing date will not be accepted. Quotations without brand names where required will not be accepted. Prices quoted must be as per the unit indicated and be excluded of vat. Total quotation value to include vat where applicable.

The tender is for the supply and installation of materials, equipment, and services for chlorination. Bidders must submit three letters on client letterhead for chlorine handling and installations. Compulsory certificates must accompany the bid: safe use and handling of chlorine, basic life support and first aid, and dangerous goods handling. The target chlorine residual is 5mg/L, adjustable between 0 and 5 mg/L. Chlorination will be done using gas chlorine in 68 kg cylinders. Quotations must be valid for at least 90 days from the closing date. The municipality may accept the whole or a part of the quote where the quote comprises of more than one item. The municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any bid. The acceptance of the quote and the subsequent issuing of an official order constitute a legal binding document and may not be cancelled. Goods and services may only be provided after and according to the official order issued. All contractors to ensure that waste generated during a construction period of a building project is appropriately contained on site and correctly disposed of at a registered landfill site or dropoff facility. The management of waste is continuous, and waste is not allowed to accumulate to a point where it is unsightly, creates windblown litter or any form of nuisance. Upon completion of the project safe disposal certificates need to be submitted to the project manager as proof that all waste was disposed of in the correct manner. The submission of safe disposal certificates will be a prerequisite for the processing of payment certificates. All documents and packaging of courier must be clearly marked q with the number. It remains the responsibility of the service provider/contractor to ensure that his quotation bid is clearly marked and placed in the correct box. Quotations will be evaluated in terms of preferential procurement regulations, 2022, preferential procurement policy of council. The successful bidders to ensure compliance with section 204 of the value added tax vat act, 89 of ****.

Bid closing date is Monday, 28 July 2025 at 11:00 AM. No emailed submissions will be accepted. Bidders must be registered with the CIDB or capable of being so prior to evaluation. The tender is for the supply and delivery of a multi-parameter multimeter for wastewater treatment at Northern Works. Suppliers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Quotes must be submitted on the eTender portal (www. ***. *. *) in PDF or MS Word/Excel format. No email submissions will be accepted. Quotes received after the closing date and time will not be accepted. Quotes without brand names where required will not be accepted. Prices quoted must be exclusive of VAT. A copy of a valid lease agreement or municipal account (not older than 3 months) must be submitted with the quote. Completed MBD forms (attached) must also be submitted. A copy of a valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit must be submitted. Please note that submissions must be made on the eTender portal. The quotation will be evaluated on an 80/20 point scoring system, with 80 points allocated to price and 20 points to specific goals (EMEs or QSEs). Do not quote on laboratory DO probes or sensors, obsolete meters, or spares within a year or two years. Attach a picture of the DO meter being quoted for. All sensors (including conductivity and temperature) must be ordered separately. The tenderer must indicate how they claim points for each preference point system. Bid documents are available from March 12, 2025, at a cost. Bidding documents can be requested via email or downloaded from the National Treasury eTenders portal. Bids must be sealed and placed in the tender box at the specified location. No faxed or emailed tenders will be accepted. Only original signed tender documents will be accepted. Bids must be completed in black ink. Compulsory briefing sessions must be attended. Midvaal Local Municipality will not accept any bid with missing pages or incomplete attachments. Bids will be evaluated based on relevant specifications, value for money, capability to execute the contract, and compliance with procurement policies. The council reserves the right to accept any bid or part thereof.
