Quotations must be deposited into the quotation box on the ground floor public entrance door of the Lister Clarence Building, at 221 Murchison Street, Ladysmith, on or before 29 July 2026 at 11:00 AM.

The 80/20 preference points system will be used to evaluate proposals. The 80 points shall be for price and 20 points for specific goals.

Suppliers must have a proven track record and be registered on the Central Supplier Database. Bidders are required to attach proof of address to earn points for being located in the Alfred Duma Local Municipal area.

Quotations received after the closing date and time and which are not clearly marked will not be accepted.

The closing date for quotations is 4 August 2026.

30 days payment terms and conditions of the invoices will be applicable and after the delivery of goods and services in the municipality.

Quotations will be evaluated according to the 80/20 preference points system. The municipality reserves the right not to accept the lowest quotation or to award RFQ to the supplier scoring the highest number of points.

Suppliers must be registered on the municipality's accredited supplier database as well as the CSD. Tax matters must be in order, and a valid tax clearance certificate must be submitted. Municipal account status must be submitted.

The bid of any bidder may be rejected if that bidder, or any of its directors have abused the municipality’s supply chain management system, been convicted for fraud or corruption, wilfully neglected to comply with a public sector contract, or are listed in the register for tender defaulters.

The total amount of the quotation is below R300,****.

The closing time for submission of tender offers is 11:00 on 11 December 2023.

The evaluation process includes pre-compliance, functional evaluation, and price and preferential points evaluation, utilizing the 80/20 preference point system.

Bidders must ensure compliance with tax obligations and may need to provide a Tax Clearance Status (TCS) PIN or CSD number. Bidders are also prohibited from being in the service of the state.

Bids may be rejected if arithmetical errors are not corrected, if tax compliance is not in order, or if submitted by persons in the service of the state.

The closing date for submission of tender offers is 23 January 2026 at 11:00 AM.

The purchaser undertakes to make payment for the goods/services delivered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, within 30 days after receipt of an invoice accompanied by the delivery note.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on Friday, 05th of December 2025 at 10:00 AM at the JRA Fleet and Plant Depot at no 350 Albertina Sisulu Street, Fordsburg, Johannesburg. Non-compliance to this requirement will lead to an immediate disqualification.

Non-compliance with the compulsory briefing session requirement will lead to immediate disqualification. Failure to provide required tax compliance particulars may render the bid invalid.
