This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the supply and delivery of mobile radios for ATNS Port Elizabeth International Airport. The purchase is a once-off. Bids must be submitted online via the eSubmission eTender system by 29 May 2026 at 11:00 CAT. The evaluation process will be in three stages: administrative, mandatory, and price/specific goals. A 2-year warranty is required. Proposals must be valid for 60 days. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide proof of tax compliance.
The bid closing date is 29 May 2026 at 11:00 CAT. Deliveries must take place within 7 working days after placing an official order, unless agreed with management.
The method and conditions of payment to be made to the supplier under this contract shall be specified in SCC. Payments shall be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice or claim by the supplier.
The bidder must provide a manufacturer's warranty of material and workmanship for 2 years.
The bid will be evaluated using the 80/20 point system, with 80 points for price and 20 points for ATNS specific goals.
Bidders must comply with administrative requirements (valid tax pin status, valid BB-BEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CIPC, latest CSD full report, duly completed and signed SBD forms) and mandatory requirements (completed quotation on company letterhead aligned to ATNS pricing schedule, 2-year warranty, manufacturer's datasheet or product brochure).
Subject to GCC clause 25, if the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.
ATNS shall reject a proposal for the award of a contract if the recommended bidder has committed a proven corrupt or fraudulent act in competing for the particular contract. ATNS may disregard the bid of any bidder if that bidder, or any of its directors, have abused the SCM system of ATNS, have committed proven fraud or any other improper conduct in relation to such system, or have failed to perform on any previous contract and the proof exists.
