Eskom commits to paying suppliers within 30 days for contracts below R50 million and within 60 days for contracts above R50 million. eskom is committed to paying suppliers within 30 days of receipt of undisputed invoices.

The contract is awarded to the tenderer scoring the highest points based on price (80/90) and specific goals (20/10). the contract must be awarded to the tenderer scoring the highest points.

Tenderers must meet eligibility criteria, including no restrictions to do business with Eskom, no conflicts of interest, and valid CSD registration. tenderers are ineligible to submit a tender if: 1. tenderers have the nationality of a country on any international sanctions list.

Tenderers will be disqualified for not meeting eligibility criteria, submitting late tenders, or failing to submit mandatory returnables. late tenders will not be accepted and a tenderer that does not submit mandatory documents by or the complete information required in mandatory documents by the deadlines as stipulated in the tender returnable section of the respective invitation to tender will be deemed nonresponsive.

Submissions must be received by the closing date and time: closing date and time 03 october 2026 at 11: 00 am. No late submissions will be accepted.

No advance payment will be made. payment will only be made in accordance to the delivery of service or goods that will be agreed upon by the sabs and the successful bidder.

Evaluation uses the **** preference points system of 2022, with 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals.

Bidders must have 5 years of experience and provide contactable reference letters from currentrecent not older than 5 years where similar gas system repairs, maintenance installation was carried out.

Bidders must not contact other SABS personnel, as any canvassing by bidderssuppliers regarding this rfq will result in disqualification. Also, failure to disclose CSD-registered companies will lead to disqualification.

Bids must be submitted by 06 November 2026 at 14h00. a response has to be submitted on or before 06 november 2026 at 14h00 pm.

Evaluation criteria: price 80 bbbee 20.

Bidders must submit tax compliance PIN, CSD number, and B-BBEE certificate. failure to provide or comply with any of the above particulars may render the bid invalid.

Late submissions and incomplete pricing schedules lead to disqualification. no late submissions will be accepted and failure to price all the items, bidder will be disqualified.

Penalty calculated on delayed goods using current prime interest rate per day of delay. deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods

Failure to submit mandatory documents, comply with tax requirements, or complete pricing schedule will render bid invalid. failure to provide or comply with any of the above particulars may render the bid invalid
