Hanger Tenders

The delivery of the material must commence within 10 working days of placement of the first order issued by DWS.

Payments will be made within 30 days of receipt and approval of original invoice.

Bidders must ensure compliance with their tax obligations. Bidders are required to submit their unique personal identification number (PIN) issued by SARS.

If the bidder fails to supply the goods or render the service within the period stipulated in the contract, the department shall have the right, in its sole discretion to deduct as a penalty as described in paragraph 22 of national treasury general conditions of contract ntgcc.

Bidders are advised to acquaint themselves with roads, road conditions, distances, etc. on and to the site, before bidding.

The contract period of the project will be for the period of four (4) weeks after the receipt of purchase order.

Payment will be made by the Chief Financial Officer within 30 days on receipt of a certificate of payment issued by the engineer and will be made by means of a cheque drawn upon the councils bankers in Pietermaritzburg.

A 12 months guarantee/warranty/defects liability period from date of completion.

Tenderers shall be evaluated on a **** preference point system in accordance with the msunduzi municipalitys supply chain management policy incorporating preferential procurement as prescribed in terms of the preferential procurement regulations 2022, pertaining to the preferential procurement policy framework act, act no. 5 of ****, including chapter 4 of the public procurement act no. 28 of 2024.

Tenderers must submit proof of experience working an in operational airport on repairs and maintenance projects completed to qualify for this project.

A penalty of R500 per calendar day to be levied for failing to meet the implementation plan time frames stipulated for this contract and failure to meet the stipulated responsive time consecutively will lead to termination of the contract.

Where in the tender document reference is made to a compulsory site inspectiontender briefing meeting, the tenderer shall be required to attend the meeting prompt on the date and time mentioned in the tender document.
