The duties covered by this specification covers the provision of a 24hour professional security services to the artscape centre at cape town foreshore as well as the décor stores at epping industria for a period of thirtysix 36 months.

Payment shall be made on a monthly basis, at the end of each month, for work previously performed and upon proper invoicing and accepted reporting.

The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the contract. If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser must, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.

The successful bidder should have a western cape based security operational office within a radius of 60 km from the artscape and epping premises, which will be inspected by the client representatives, prior to the award ing of the contract.
